BRENDA FRICKER (Annie McLaughlin)

Brenda Fricker’s film credits include Resurrection directed by Andrew Eaton, A Time to Kill directed by Joel Schumacher, Anna Benson Gyles’ Swann, Pen Densham’s Moll Flanders and A Man of No Importance directed by Suri Krishnamma. Brenda’s performance in Jim Sheridan’s My Left Foot earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1990 and led her to team up with Sheridan again in the film The Field.

Fricker has worked on several television projects; her most recent works include the mini series Cinderella and Me and Torso. Brenda is still remembered for her performance of Nurse Roache in the BBC’s Casualty.
